In May we met up with Lohan Presencer – Chairman, The Ministry and Executive Chairman Ministry of Sound at his prestigious new offices called The Ministry which is London’s most exciting workspace and members club for the creative industries.
Lohan has been Chairman of the Ministry of Sound since 2016 which started as a nightclub venue in 1991 and expanded into a multimedia entertainment business. This included a record label which had 21 Number One singles and sold over 70 million records before being sold to Sony. Lohan studied Acoustical Engineering at Southampton University and joined IRP as General Manager, he then became Marketing Director for Warner Music Group before joining the Ministry of Sound in 1999 to oversee the creation and growth of its artist development department.
Lohan provided us with a fascinating insight into the business and his personal journey along the way, talking eloquently about how he has been able to maintain the success of the business through many iterations and challenges.
